Server

Responsible for bringing food and beverages to dine-in customers seated in their section at a restaurant. Their duties include writing down each customer’s order, submitting it to the kitchen and bringing out the correct dishes and beverages to each diner; assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant; setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events; ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
Bartender
Managing drink orders at a restaurant, pub, hotel, club or private event to keep customers satisfied during meals or social gatherings. They have extensive knowledge of common drinks, which they use to recommend drinks to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines. Bartenders may also entertain customers who sit at the bar by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers.
Mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales.
Bar Manager
Oversees the staff and operations of a bar by making sure it’s clean, functioning efficiently and inviting for customers to relax in.
Duties include scheduling employees and building their shift calendars, managing and resolving customer complaints and ensuring the bar’s inventory is well-stocked.
